The WAC Repair Cafe is Back!

Beginning on Wednesday 5 October, you’ll be able to attend WAC’s Repair Café again.

We’ll be holding sessions every Wednesday from 10am until 1pm at the Salvation Army on Queen Street in Penzance (TR18 4BH).

Over the 8-week course, you’ll work with our Repair Café Lead, Graham, and will be making some amazing objects out of recycled pallet wood –decorative Christmas trees, to start with. Graham will teach you basic carpentry skills and will give you an introduction to basic power tools.

This course is ideal for beginners or for those of you who already have carpentry experience.

You’ll work with Graham until 12pm, and will then be served a delicious, simple and healthy lunch.

The first session, on 5 October, will be an induction to the course, and an opportunity for the course participants to share their thoughts and ideas about the project.

If you’re interested in participating, please fill in our Expression of Interest form (please select ‘Other’ for Question #16 - “I am interested in the following courses for adults”). You can also email us on info@wholeagaincommunities.co.uk to let us know you’d like to participate.
