On Tuesday 9th April, Tuesday 16th April and Thursday 18th April, we’ll be holding free Taster Workshops from 10am-2pm. Drop in and learn some cookery in our kitchen, enjoy a delicious lunch, have a go at planting up a decorated tin in our community garden, or help at our weekly Repair Cafe.
We had some hard at work in the kitchen, others looking after our community garden and others repairing household goods and working on a new WAC garden shed!
Why not come and join us next Tuesday – or any Tuesday – from 10am until 12pm. We’d be happy to have you join our kitchen, gardening or Repair Cafe teams; or, if you’d rather not, then just join us for a lovely communal lunch. All are welcome.
Yesterday, our participants invented their own delicious WACCY pizza wraps.
We are so proud of the young people in our community and hope they all come back with their friends for our summer open house cooking workshops.
Whole Again Communities Director Carol Brooking presented John with a certificate for his dedication to WAC, his hard work and his constant smile.
We shared our Open House with Food for Families. Thank you to everyone who came out to help support us!
Our last Open House of 2017 will be on Thursday 7th December, and everyone is welcome to join us to celebrate a fantastic year at WAC! Drop in between 10am and 1pm, have some delicious food and mingle with our lovely volunteers and service users.
We would like to thank Awards for All for funding us and allowing us to deliver three programmes of SSS part one to Addaction Penzance, Penwith Acorn Acadamy and Humphrey Davy School.
If you would like WAC to deliver a program of workshops to your school, organisation or group, please get in touch.
