If you’re a regular volunteer at WAC, you’ll probably have received some Time Credits vouchers.
There are so many places in and around Penzance for you to use those vouchers! Don’t store them up – get out there and enjoy using them!
Two Time Credits will get you a seat at a performance at the Acorn Theatre in Penzance. Please note that there are limited Time Credit seats available, so you’ll need to ring and book. See the Acorn website for a list of upcoming show.
One Time Credit will give you admission to the Newlyn Art Gallery or The Exchange. You can see some wonderful contemporary art, and the view from the cafe at The Exchange is stunning!
Two Time Credits will get you a ticket to any Cornish Pirates rugby match. No need to ring ahead or book. Just go to Gate 4 on match day and present your Time Credits.
You can use two Time Credits for a ticket to any of the performances at the Penlee Park Open Air Theatre. If you haven’t been before, this is a great experience. Bring a camping chair and a picnic! This year’s programme includes Wuthering Heights, A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves. There are also various performances for children, as well as music and – new this year – the Penlee Cinema-in-the-Park featuring The Greatest Showman, Bohemian Rhapsody and Mama Mia 2.
You can use two Time Credits at most performances at the Minack Theatre, if you’d like to venture a bit further afield from Penzance. As with the Acorn, there are limited Time Credits tickets available and not for all shows, so you’ll need to ring up and ask. This year’s Minack programme includes Fisherman’s Friends, Sister Act, Romeo and Juliet, Great Expectations, Sunset Boulevard and, of course, The Proms at Minack.
You’ll only need one Time Credit to book a session at the Penzance Leisure Centre. For your one Credit, you can book a swimming, gym, badminton or table tennis session. You don’t need to book, unless you want a gym induction.
Go to the Time Credits website for a full list of all the amazing places you can use your Time Credits. And, once you’ve used some, please come back to WAC and tell us how you got on!
